1、Why does AAA-GROW use white light?  
AAA-GROW LED grow lights use full spectrum, bright white light for a couple reasons. First, the AAA-GROW spectrum encompasses the full spectrum of the trusted HPS 1000 and adds everything it lacks. Second, bright white light is easy to work under and enables you to easily detect any problems with your plants.

2、I heard plants only use red and blue light. Why waste energy on green light?
This is a myth perpetuated by LED manufacturers using proprietary purple spectrums. 

3、Do AAA-GROW fixtures emit Ultraviolet and Infrared light?
Simply put, no. Plants primarily utilize light within the visible light spectrum for plant growth. Therefore, AAA-GROW base model products do not incorporate light outside the visible light spectrum; i.e. ultraviolet light and infrared light. For customers who desire UV and IR, we suggest using supplemental lighting. Click HERE for more information.

4、Do your lights offer dimming capabilities?
AAA-GROW base model products come with dimmers. We suggest adjusting the hanging height of the fixture to obtain optimal coverage for different stages of growth. If you are experiencing height restrictions, dimmers can be added to most AAA-GROW models for an additional fee.

5、How high should I hang my AAA-GROW product from my plant canopy?

6、What AAA-GROW fixture should I purchase to replace my current grow light?

7、Can you flower with AAA-GROW LEDs?
Yes, most AAA-GROW products can be used in both flower and veg. See the suggested footprint FAQ for more information.

8、How much heat do AAA-GROWs produce?
Generally speaking, AAA-GROW products produce half the heat of the traditional grow lights they are designed to replace. Below is a list of AAA-GROW products and their BTU output.

9、Where is the ballast?
AAA-GROW LED fixtures differ from traditional lighting fixtures which utilize a remote ballast. AAA-GROW products are powered using self contained drivers. Just plug and play.

10、Do AAA-GROW Commercial Series products use fans?
No, AAA-GROW Commercial Series fixtures do not contain fans. These products are passively cooled by having adequate airflow in the environment. This innovation allows for a silent and highly efficient product experience.

11、What type of plug is offered on your units?
All stock AAA-GROW products are equipped with power plugs suitable for use in the United States. 120v models come with NEMA 5-15p and 240v models come with NEMA 6-15p. All stock AAA-GROW products can be ran 100 - 277v. Please see your desired fixture's product description for more information on power cords.

12、How many plants can I grow under it?
Everyone’s growing style is different. First, figure out what size plants you will be growing. Then, look up the suggested footprint of the AAA-GROW fixture you are using. This should give you a realistic idea of how many plants you can grow under each fixture. Keep in mind, some plants can significantly increase in size throughout their life.

13、Is it UL or ETL listed?
All AAA-GROW products are backed by UL, an independent safety science company. UL certifies all AAA-GROW products for damp and dry conditions.
